Hello fellow Moms,
My name is Emily Wireman. Like many of you, I wear a lot of hats—and some days, I’m not even sure which one I put on first. But I’m here because God laid something on my heart, and I believe someone out there might need to hear it.
My husband and I have fostered children for over 6 or 7 years. We’ve been blessed with five biological children, adopted three more, and are currently fostering five. Our older kids are now working or in college, and our home is still full of life, chaos, laughter, and lessons.
As we approach another school year, I want to say something to every Mom reading this—whether your kids are headed to public school, private school, or you’re schooling them at home:
You are not alone.
I know the doubts that creep in. I know the exhaustion that sometimes feels heavier than your own body. I know what it’s like to wonder if you’re doing enough, being enough, giving enough. But I also know this: God never called us to be perfect. He called us to be faithful.
Every packed lunch, every late-night worry, every moment you choose to love—even when you’re running on fumes—is seen by Him. None of it is wasted. And you’re doing better than you think.
So as we step into this new season, let’s remind each other that we don’t have to carry it all alone. We can lean on each other, and we can lean on God.
With love and strength,
